Potsdam is located on the northwestern edge of the Adirondak Mountains and Park. There are many places to stay within Potsdam as well as towns within a 50 mile radius of Potsdam. *If you need assistance finding accomodations for the reed summit - please contact us. Due to some other events in the area some of the local hotels are filling up quickly. Some other options for lodging would be Colton, Canton, Norfolk, Norwood, Malone, Massena, Ogdensburg, Saranac Lake, Lake Placid and more. All of these are within an hour +/- drive from Crane. Following the Summit, take advantage of the Adirondak Mountains as well as the close proximity to cities such as Ottawa, ONTARIO and Montreal, QUEBEC, CANADA.*
